Survey Description
In July 2013, a pilot reconnaissance drainage study was carried out in the South Fiord area of western Axel Heiberg Island, Nunavut. Samples were collected at 21 sites as outlined below:
Sample Type | Number of Sites |
Stream water | 4 |
Stream sediment and water | 7 |
Stream sediment and water; bulk sample for HMC | 10 |
A summary of the work can be found in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 7718. The data are published in Open File 7779.
