Survey Description
Helicopter-supported sample collection was carried out in northeastern Saskatchewan during the summer of 1993. Lake sediment and water samples were collected at 1664 sites at an average density of one sample per 12.6 km2 throughout the 21,144 square kilometres covered by the survey. Sample site duplicate samples were collected in each analytical block of twenty samples. The data are published in GSC Open File 2857.
In 2014, the samples were reanalyzed by ICP-MS and the data are published along with the original data from OF 2857 in GSC Open File 7746.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
