NGR lake sediment and water survey, NTS 65A, Nunavut, 1976
(requires an Internet connection)
In 1976, lake sediment and waters were collected in the Nueltin Lake area, southern Nunavut. The data are published in GSC Open File 413.
In 2011, samples collected at 2,526 sites in 1976 from NTS 65A (OF 413), B (OF 414) and C (OF 415) were reanalysed by ICP-ES/MS and INAA and the data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 6986 along with original data from OFs 413, 414 and 415.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
