Survey Description
More than 220 samples were collected in the Lake of the Woods region, northwestern Ontario between 1986 and 1988. The data are published in GSC Memoir 436.
Data Description:
Paper report.
Quantities Analysed:
<0.002 mm fraction by AAS after nitric-aqua regia for 13 elements; <0.002 mm and <0.063 mm fractions by INAA for 18 elements.
Geochem Maps Available:
Proportional symbol maps show the dispersal of elements.
Other Analyses:
Grain size; pebble lithologies; heavy mineral concentrate for point counts; carbonate (<0.002 and <0.063 mm fractions by LECO).
