Survey Description
During the summer of 1980, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Rousseau township area, Quebec. The area covers 264 km2. A total of 121 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 2.2 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, As, Fe, Hg, Li, Mo, Sn (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 86-17, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 32D/14 (La Sarre) and 32E/3 (Villebois). Rousseau township is located in the Abitibi area and is situated 90 km north of Rouyn-Noranda. It is bounded by latitudes 48°59'39" and 49°08'39" and longitudes 79°01'40" and 79°20'29".
