Survey Description
During the summer of 1983, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Lemoine township, Quebec. The area covers 4.5 km2. A total of 146 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.03 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, As, Li, Mo, Hg, Sn (atomic absorption), U (fluorimetry) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-69, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 32B/9 (Lac Deziel), /16 (Lac Dubois). The southern part of the Lemoine township is located in the Abitibi region. It is bounded by latitudes 49°44'16" and 49°46'30" and longitudes 74°05'15" and 74°07'45".
