Survey Description
During the summer of 1983, a soil sampling survey was conducted in the Troïlus area, Quebec. The area covers 425 km2. A total of 120 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.5 km2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Ag, Mn, Mo, As, Ba, Bi, Cr, Fe, Li (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-45, Department of Energy and Resources, 1985.

Covers NTS 32J/9 (Lac Armagnac), /10 (Lac Regnault). The Troilus region is located in the Nord-du-Québec region. It includes Lac Armagnac and Lac de Maures. It is bounded by latitudes 50°32' and 50°43' and longitudes 74°08'15" and 74°33'.
