Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Ste-Malachie area, Quebec.  The area covers 800 km2. A total of 141 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 5.7 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 21L/10 (Saint-Malachie). The Saint-Malachie region is situated in Bellechasse and Dorchester counties. It includes the cities of Saint-Damien-de-Buckland, Saint-Nérée, Sainte-Claire and Armagh. It is bounded by latitudes 46°30' and 46°45' and longitudes 70°30' and 71°.
