Survey Description


In 1964, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Gouin-Legendre region, Quebec on the west half of NTS 31J/9.  The area covers 512 km2.  A total of 250 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 2.0 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 31J/9 (west) (Saint-Guillaume-Nord). The Gouin-Legendre region is located in Mont Tremblant park. It is situated in Montcalm and Joliette counties. It is bounded by latitudes 46°30' and 46°45' and longitudes 74°15' and 74°30'.
