Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Roberval region, Quebec.  The area covers 1600 km2.  A total of 135 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 11.8 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 32A/8 (Chambord), /9 (Roberval), /10 (Notre-Dame-de-la-Dore), /15 (Normandin), /16 (Dolbeau-Mistassini). The Roberval region is situated in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean area. It is bounded by latitudes 48°17' and 48°45' and longitudes 72°12' and 72°45'.
