Survey Description


In 1970, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the St-Gabriel-de-Brandon region, Quebec.  The area covers 500 km2.  A total of 45 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 11.1 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 31I/6 (Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon). The Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon area is bounded by latitudes 46°15' and 46°30' and longitudes 73°15' and 73°30'. It includes Lac Mandeville and Lac Maskinongé.
