Survey Description


In 1969, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Verneuil region, Quebec.  The area covers 70 km2.  A total of 283 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.2 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 32F/2 (Lac Quévillon). The Verneuil area is located approximately 15km east of Lebel-sur-Quévillon and 210 km northeast of Val-d’Or, in the Abitibi region. It is bounded by latitudes 49° and 49°05' and longitudes 76°39' and 76°46'.
