Survey Description
In 1973-1974, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Grande-Rivière region, New-Quebec. The area covers 5850 km2. A total of 11750 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.5 km2 and analysed for:

Covers NTS 33F/5 (Lac Esprit), /6 (Lac Kowskatehkakmow), /7 (Lac Sakami), /9 (Colline Masson), /10 (Passe Awapakamich), /11 (Passe Chimusuminu), /14 (Lac Brehan) and 33G/5 (Quebec), /6 (Lac Chabrillan), /7 (Lac Brune), /10 (Baie Gavaudan), /11 (Lac Guyer), /12 (Colline Bezier), /13 (Lac de la Montagne du Pin), /14 (Collines Doureau), /15 (Colline Captel) in west-central Quebec. It is situated in the Municipality of James Bay and includes part of the Grande Rivière Reservoir.
