Survey Description

In 1963, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Regnault area, Quebec.  The area covers 750 km2.  A total of 166 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 4.5 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers parts of NTS 32J/10 (Lac Regnault), /15 (Lac Troilus). The Lac Regnault area is bounded by latitudes 50o30' and 50o54' and longitudes 74o45' and 75o. It is situated just under 200 miles from Baie James and 300 miles from Quebec City.
