Survey Description
In 1963-1964, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Clermont township area, Quebec. The area covers 150 km2. A total of 133 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per km2 and analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo.
The data are published in geological report RG-138, Department of Natural Resources, 1970. This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 32D/14 (La Sarre) and 32E/3 (Villebois). The Clermont township area is bounded by latitudes 48°52' and 49°01' and longitudes 79°05' and 79°18' and separated from the interprovincial Quebec-Ontario boundary to the west by Desmeloizes township. The cities of Rouyn and Noranda are 65 miles from the center of the area.
