In 1969, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Montbeillard township area, Quebec. The area covers 120 km2. A total of 172 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.7 km2 and analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, W, Mn, Sn, Sb, Ag, Au, U.
The data are published in preliminary report RP-602, Department of Natural Resources, Quebec, 1971. This survey is part of a compilation DV 87-22, published in 1987.

Covers NTS 32D/3 (Rouyn). Montbeillard township is situated some ten miles from Rouyn-Noranda, and is bounded approximately by latitudes 48o and 48o 08'25" and longitudes 76o05' and 76o18'02".
