Survey Description


In 1966, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Isle-Maligne-Saint-Ambroise area, Quebec.  The area covers 970 km2.  A total of 336 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 2.7 km2 and analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni and U.

The data are published in preliminary report RP-575, Department of Natural Resources, Quebec, 1970.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 22D/11 (Saint-Ambroise), /12 (Alma).  The Île-Maligne - Saint-Ambroise area includes, in whole or in part, the townships of: Signay, Labarre, Kénogami, Simard, Falardeau, Bourget, Bégin, Taché, Labrecque, Garnier, Taillon and De l'Île.
