Survey Description


A stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Sakami area, Quebec.  The area covers 1000 km2.  A total of 179 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 5.6 km2 and analysed:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 33F/7 (Lac Sakami) north and 33F/10 (Passe Awapakamich) south.  The Lac Sakami area includes parts of the area covered by the Passe Awapakamich sheet and Lac Sakami sheet.  It is bounded by 53°20'N and 53°35'N latitude and by 76°30'W and 77°W longitude.
