Survey Description
In 1968 and 1971, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the entire county of Baby and bordering parts of Guigues, Nédelec and Guérin counties, Temiscaming area, Quebec. The area covers 300 km2. A total of 492 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.6 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 31M/6 (Ville-Marie), /11 (Angliers). It is located between 47°25'N and 47°37'N latitudes and 79°06'W and 79°26'W longitude. It is bounded to the east and partly to the north by Lac Quinze. It includes the city of Baby and parts of Guigues, Nédelec and Guérin townships.
