Survey Description
In 1979, a geochemical survey was carried out in the Fabre area, Temiscamingue, Quebec. A total of 130 stream sediment samples were collected, at intervals of 500 m at an average density of 1 sample per 1.4 km2, except in the north quarter, which was not entirely sampled. The survey covers an area of 150 km2. Samples were analysed for Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li, U and As, using analytical methods published by Guimont and Pichette, 1977.
The data are published in DPV-765, Department of Energy and Resources, Quebec, 1980. This survey is part of a compilation of geochemical surveys published in DV 87-22.
