Survey Description

In 1979, a geochemical survey was carried out in the Fabre area, Temiscamingue, Quebec.  A total of 130 stream sediment samples were collected, at intervals of 500 m, except in the north quart, Which was not entirely sampled, at an average density of 1 sample per 1.4 km2.  The survey covers an area of 150 km2. Samples were analysed for Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li, U and As, using analytical methods published by Guimont and Pichette, 1977.

The data are published in DPV-765, Department of Energy and Resources, Quebec, 1980.  This survey is part of a compilation DV 87-22, published in 1987.
