Survey Description
In August 1985, a regional geochemical survey was carried out on Michipicoten Island, Ontairo. Lake sediment and water samples were collected at 94 locations in lakes and ponds.
The survey was for a mineral resource appraisal but also had an environmental component (acid rain), so limnological measurements were also made.
The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Map M80758.

Covers part of NTS 41N/12 (Michipicoten Island) and 41N/13 (Bonner Head), all of Michipicoten Island. It is located in the eastern part of Lake Superior.
