Survey Description
6 humus and 6 vegetation samples were collected on the Samuels Lake property in 2000. The thick glacial drift over the property is not till and therefore was not sampled. The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report 6054.
Data Description:
Paper report with data lists. Digital data available separately as MRD-71 (Miscellaneous Release-Data 71).
Quantities Analysed:
<0.177 mm fraction of humus and <0.063 mm fraction of till by ICP-AES for 25 elements; by ICP-AES-FA for Au, Pd, and Pt; by ICP-MS for 51 elements.
Geochem Maps Available:
Proportional symbol maps show dispersal of selected elements.
Other Analyses:
Heavy mineral concentrate from 77 till samples for gold grain counts and metamorphic or magmatic massive sulphide and kimberlite indicator minerals; pebble lithologies for 77 till samples.
