Survey Description
A reconnaissance geochemical survey was carried out in southwestern New Brunswick during the summers of 1968 and 1969. Approximately 2,164 sediment samples were collected from active stream channels and from rivulets fed by springs and seeps. Streams were sampled every 1500 to 2000 feet. A uniform spacing between samples could not be maintained because of the irregular distribution of streams.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers part of NTS 21G (Fredericton) in southwest New Brunswick. It is bounded to the west by the Main-New Brunswick border. The centre of the study area is located approximately 65 km north of the Bay of Fundy.
