Survey Description
During the 1967 field season, 1,262 samples of fine-grained sediment were collected from the channels of rivers and streams and from rivulets flowing from springs and seeps. Active channels were sampled where possible, but a few samples of bank material or residual sediment of dried-up streams was collected.
The data are presented on a series of maps in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources Report of Investigation No. 6.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 21G/01 (Musquash), /02 (St. George), /07 (McDougall Lake), /08 (Saint John) in southwest New Brunswick. It is bounded to the south by the Bay of Fundy. The centre of the study area is located approximately 21 km west of the city of Saint John.
