Survey Description
Till samples were collected in 1987 in the Atholville, Escuminac and Oak Bay areas in northern New Brunswick. The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Geological Notes Series PM 88-10 and on the following map plates:

Data Description:
Paper report.
Quantities Analysed:
<0.063 mm fraction by AAS after nitric-hydrochloric acid for 9 elements; by colorimetric method for Mo; by fire assay-INAA for Au, and by CV-AA after nitric acid digestion for Hg.
Geochem Maps Available:
Plates show hand-contoured data plots.
The data have also been published as part of a compilation for NTS 21O, 21N and 22B in NB DNRED Open File OF 2021-2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 21O/15 (Atholville) and parts of 22B/1 (Escuminac) and 22B/2 (Oak Bay) in northern New Brunswick. It is bounded to the north by the Restigouche River.
