Survey Description
In June 1996 a regional geochemistry survey was conducted in the Babine Porphyry Belt, in the northern Interior Plateau region, central British Columbia. Lake sediment and waters were collected from 332 sites (352 samples) over an area of approximately 3,406 km2 at an average density of approximately one site per 10.3 km2.
The data are published in British Columbia Geological Survey Open File 1997-17.
This survey was carried out using National Geochemical Reconnaissance (NGR) protocols.
