Survey Description
In 2000, 287 till samples were collected in the Wells-Stony Lake area in east central British Columbia. The data are published in British Columbia Geological Survey Open File 2001-10.

Paper report; report can be downloaded; data lists on diskette (ASCII) included.
Quantities Analysed:
<0.063 mm fraction by ICP-MS after aqua regia digestion for 31 elements, by LiBO2 fusion ICP-ES for major oxides, 7 minor elements and LOI, and by INAA for 30 elements.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 93H/4 (Wells; most of northwest quadrant) and 93H/5 (Stony Lake; most of southwest quadrant) in the Wells-Stony Lake area, east central British Columbia. The study area is located approximately 36 km east of Highway 97 and 95 km southeast of the town of Prince George.
