Survey Description

In 2005, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was conducted in eastern Labrador.

Samples of organic lake sediment were collected from the centre of lakes at 809 sites and lake water from 747 sites using a float-equipped helicopter.

The data are published in Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources Open File LAB/1427 and are also part of a geochemical lake survey compilation, Open File LAB/1465.
