Survey Description

In 2004, a high-density lake sediment and water survey was conducted in the Snegamook Lake and Mistinippi Lake map areas, central Labrador.

Samples of organic lake sediment and lake water were collected at 257 sites using a float-equipped helicopter for an average sampling density of 1 sample per 5.6 km2.

The data are published in Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources Open File 13K/0292 and are also part of a geochemical lake survey compilation, Open File LAB/1465.
