Survey Description
During the summer of 1990, a geochemical sampling program was conducted over portions of the Baie Verte and Springdale peninsulas. A total of 318 samples were collected at 318 sites. Both sample types were collected at 134 sites.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers parts of NTS 2E (Botwood), 12H (Sandy Lake) and 12I (Port Saunders) on the Baie Verte and Springdale peninsulas, Newfoundland. The towns of Springdale and Baie Verte lie in the southern and northern parts of the study area respectively.
