Beardmore-Geraldton, northern Ontario till sampling survey, 1986-1989
Project Description
Surficial mapping and till geochemistry studies were carried out in the Beardmore-Geraldton area of northern Ontario in 1986-1989. The surveys were designed to stimulate further growth in the Ontario mining industry. The study deals with the distribution, stratigraphy, sedimentology, composition and source of glacial sediments, particularly till, in the vicinity of known and potential mineralization.

Project Funding
