Southern Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland, British Columbia, steam sediment and water surveys carried out in 1989
Project Description
In June to August 1989, stream sediment and water samples were collected on southern Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. The reconnaissance scale surveys were undertaken by the British Columbia Geological Survey Branch of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources as part of its goal to provide a geochemical database for British Columbia. The RGS (Regional Geochemical Survey) program started in 1976 and is part of the Geological Survey of Canada’s National Geochemical Reconnaissance Program. The data are published as follows:
NTS | BC Regional Geochemical Survey | GSC Open File |
92B, C | RGS 24 | 2182 |
92F | RGS 25 | 2183 |
92G | RGS 26 | 2184 |
