Committee Bay North Project, 2004-2005
Project Description
The Committee Bay North Project in the Darby Lake-Arrowsmith River map areas (56N and 56O (N½)) was initiated in collaboration with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC), the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) and the Canada-Nunavut Geoscience office (C-NGO). This area was selected to bridge the geoscience gap between the Committee Bay supracrustal belt to the south and the Barclay supracrustal belt to the north. In addition to bedrock sampling, a regional scale till sampling program and ice-movement study were also undertaken.
The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open File 5003.
