Project Description
In 1985, Quaternary mapping and till geochemistry studies were undertaken in the western part of the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador in the Letitia Lake area. The object of the project was to determine the local ice-flow history and its effects on dispersal of sediment derived from the bedrock units, as an aid to mineral exploration in the area. The data are published in Newfoundland Department of Mines and Energy Open File 13L/0069.
