Bundle Description

Geochemical results of till samples collected in the Atholville (21O/15) and Charlo (21O/16) regions, north central New Brunswick.

The <63 micron fraction of till was analysed for 12 trace elements using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).  For determination of Ag, Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn, atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) was performed with an air acetylene flame.  Determination of Mo and V was done by atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) using a nitrous oxide acetylene flame.  Mercury was determined by cold vapour atomic absorption spectrometry (Hg-CVAAS) using a modified Hatch and Ott procedure.  The analyses were carried out by CANTECH Laboratories in Calgary, Alberta.
