Bundle Description

Geochemical results of till samples collected in the Petitcodiac region (21H/14), southeastern New Brunswick.

The <63 micron fraction of till was analysed for 35 trace elements using instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) and for 19 trace elements using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).  Hg was analysed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (Hg ICP-AES) using cold vapour flow injection mercury system (FIMS).  The analyses were carried out by Activation (Actlabs) Labs Ltd., Ancaster, Ontario.

The analytical data were obtained from the ActLabs report provided by Toon Pronk in October 2006.  The data are consistent with Allaby’s MSc thesis.  Mistakes and omissions in the Excel spreadsheet compilation of Fundy Model Forest data are corrected.
