Survey Description

Till (C-horizon) and B-horizon samples were collected in the Upsalquitch Forks area in northern New Brunswick in 1986.  The study is described in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Geological Notes Series P.M. 87-47 and the data are published on the following map plates:

NB DNRE Map Plate Data
87-47B Au, As
87-47C Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, Sb
87-47D Co, Ni, Mn, Fe, Mo

Data Description:

Paper report and maps.  No data listings.

Quantities Analysed:

<0.063 mm fraction of C-horizon till by AAS for 9 elements; by colourimetry for Sb and Mo; by FA-INAA for Au.  B-horizon samples only for Au by FA-INAA.

Geochem Maps Available:

Maps showing element value (as a number) at each site.

Other Analyses:

Pebble lithology.

The data have also been published as part of a compilation for NTS 21O, 21N and 22B in NB DNRED Open File OF 2021-2.
