Till and stream sediment sampling surveys, Borden and Steensby Peninsulas, Nunavut, Opus Minerals Inc., 1999.

Between July 16th, 1999, and August 29th, 1999, a total of 100 till samples and 194 stream sediment samples were collected by Opus Minerals Inc. from the Borden and Steensby Peninsulas of northern Baffin Island in east-central Nunavut. The survey area is located in the area of Bartlett Inlet and Kim Lake, within NTS map sheets 48A/4, 5 and 48B/1, and 8.
The purpose of the exploration program was to evaluate the area and delineate sources of known kimberlite indicator minerals. Two separate kimberlites were found in outcrop.

Covers parts of NTS map sheet 47H (Phillips Creek) and 47G (Berlinguet Inlet) on the Borden and Steensby Peninsulas of northern Baffin Island in east-central Nunavut. The area is located near Bartlett Inlet and Kim Lake.
