Survey Description


In 1969, a soil sampling survey on 10 claims was conducted by SOQUEM, on the east part of St-André-de-Ristigouche property, Quebec.  The area covers 850 acres.  A total of 1123 samples were collected in horizon B at an average density of 1 sample per 0.007 km 2 and analysed for Cu, Zn, Ag (atomic absorption technique).

The data are published in GM-24462, Department of Natural Resources, 1969.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers part of NTS 22B/2 (Oak-Bay).  The Saint-André property is located in Restigouche township, Bonaventure county.  It includes ten claims (mostly the east part), in the southwestern part of Gaspé area.
