Survey Description
In the summer field seasons of 2000-2004 Ashton Mining (Northwest Territories) Ltd. collected 832 heavy mineral samples from the James River Property in the James River/Hood River areas of the Kitikmeot District in Nunavut Territory. The property covers parts of NTS map sheets 76L/13-14 and 76M/3-4. It is located approximately 80 km south of Coronation Gulf and 520 km NNE of Yellowknife. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084852.
