Till sampling survey, Chesterfield Inlet area, Kivalliq Region, Nunavut, Shear Minerals Ltd., 2004.

Between July 28th and August 29th, 2004, 454 till samples were collected from the Chesterfield Inlet prospecting permits in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut Territory. The permits cover parts of NTS map sheets 55O/9-11, 13-16 and 55N/10, 11 and 14-16, and are are centred on: 63°38.7’N Latitude and 90°49.67’W Longitude. The samples were collected as part of the Churchill Diamond Project, a joint venture between Shear Minerals Ltd., Stornoway Diamond Corp. and BHP Billiton Diamonds Inc. Sampling was conducted by APEX Geosciences Ltd. and Shear Minerals Ltd. on behalf of the joint venture. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084829.

Covers parts of NTS map sheets 55O/9-11, 13-16 and 55N/10, 11 and 14-16 and straddles Chesterfield Inlet in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut Territory. The area lies within the Chesterfield Inlet prospecting permits, which are centred on: 63°38.7’ Latitude and 90°49.67’ Longitude.
