Survey Description
During the 2003 summer field season, 468 till samples were collected for heavy mineral processing from the Nanuq Property, in the Kivalliq Region of south-west Nunavut. The property is situated approximately 170 km north of the town of Chesterfield Inlet and 225 km ENE of the town of Baker Lake within NTS map sheet 56G.
The samples were collected by Dunsmuir Ventures Ltd. to follow up on anomalous KIM counts identified by BHP Billiton (2001) and Dunsmuir (2002).
