Survey Description
Between August 12th and 17th, 2003, 51 till samples were collected by Micron Geological Ltd. on behalf of WMC International on Federal Claims CWM 1, CWM 2, CWM 4, CWM 5 and CWM 7-12. These areas are part of the Meliadine West Gold Project, 20 km NNW of Rankin Inlet, in south-central Nunavut. The area is enveloped by NTS map sheets 55O/3 and 4.
The objective of the summer field work was to identify kimberlite targets with diamond potential additional to those that had been discovered over the previous four years of the program.
