Survey Description
Between June 28th and July 21st, 2003, De Beers Canada Exploration Inc. (DBCEI) collected 708 glacial till samples in search of diamond indicator mineral trains on the Tak Property in the West Kitikmeot Region of west-central Nunavut. The property is situated on the west side of Napaktulik Lake, within NTS map sheets 86I/2 and 7. The purpose of the exploration program was to provide regional till sampling coverage of the Tak Property. Therefore, samples were collected from the till veneer over a wide (280 km2) area.
