Survey Description
During the 1993 and 1996-1998 summer seasons, 182 heavy mineral samples were collected by Pure Gold Minerals Inc. in joint venture with Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. on the Roc Property in the North Mining District of Nunavut. This property is located immediately west of Rockinghorse Lake, within NTS sheet 86 H/15.
The purpose of the investigation was to assess the potential of the property to host kimberlite occurrences.
