Survey Description
In July 2002, 28 samples were collected on the Aviat Property’s DS mineral claims, which are located approximately 200 km north of Igloolik, Nunavut on the northern Melville Peninsula.
In July and August of 2003, 93 samples were collected. All samples were sent to either the Saskatchewan Research Council or to Diamond Indicator Processing Inc. Those that were sent for Diamond Indicator Processing Inc were sent to R.L Barnett Geological Consulting for microprobe confirmation.
Apex Geoscience Ltd, on behalf of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, carried out this survey.
