Survey Description
During the 2000 field season a total of 14 heavy mineral samples were collected to follow up anomalous results on the BEL property, which is located approximately 265 km southeast of Yellowknife.
The samples were collected from eskers, mudboils and other surficial features representative of glacial deposition. A heavy mineral concentration was isolated at Ashton Mining of Canada’s North Vancouver Laboratory.
The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084345.
