Survey Description
During the 1998 and 1999 field seasons a detailed till and rock chip sampling program was carried out on the CWM claims located approximately 30 km northeast of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. A total of 148 rock chip samples and 286 till samples were collected in the Aklak project area.
The rock chip samples were sent to ITS Bondar Clegg for ICP analysis and the till samples were sent to Overburden Drilling Management in Nepean, Ontario.
The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084287.
In 2002, detailed electron microprobe analysis of kimberlite indicator minerals from HMCs of till previously taken on the property was carried out by Mineral Services. The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 084592.
