Survey Description
This reconnaissance till and soil sampling survey was carried out by Gerle Gold Ltd., on behalf of Echo Bay Mines Ltd. The purpose was to determine the presence of possible kimberlite occurrences detected by geophysical surveys. The property is located approximately 400 km north of Yellowknife. A total of 140 till and soil samples were collected on the property. The samples were washed on site by field crews to remove the clay and silt particles and the cobble and boulder size fraction was also removed. The samples were then sent to the Saskatchewan Research Council for further analysis.
The data was SEM checked.
The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 083219.
