Survey Description
In July and August, 1994, a total of 335 till, 2 glaciofluvial and 9 esker samples were collected in a helicopter-supported survey on the Cascares property in the Kikerk Lake region, located approximately 500 km north of Yellowknife.
The samples were collected along six east-west lines spaced approximately 8 km apart. Samples were collected at 300 m intervals along the lines. This density was used to determine potential kimberlite clusters and to define individual kimberlite trains running across the property.
The data can be found in Nunavut Assessment Report 083536.
